Founded in 1968, The Village is a state-of-the-art, full-service recording complex housed in a Masonic Temple built in the roaring Twenties in West Los Angeles. The Village is famous for landmark sessions by Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, The Rolling Stones, Supertramp and Pink Floyd, and recent artists including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, John Mayer and many, many others. The studio is well known for its film and television scoring and commercial work, with an impressive list of movie soundtracks, from the Bodyguard and Shawshank Redemption to Walk the Line and many others, as well as recent projects including weekly mixes of the music soundtrack for ABC's primetime series “Nashville” and production of the soundtrack for “The Hunger Games.”
